About our Leadership
Steven Willem Lubbe, an accomplished professional, leads and manages Lubbe with utmost dedication. His remarkable journey began in the aerospace industry, where he excelled as an assistant qualifications manager, contributing to various Airbus projects. It was during this time that Steven’s profound interest in applied science took root, setting the stage for his future accomplishments.
Recognized for his ingenuity, Steven showcased his expertise by providing novel welding solutions tailored to the aerospace industry’s unique challenges. This success led to his involvement in groundbreaking research and development projects, specifically focused on pioneering metal 3D printing with titanium powder feedstock—a pioneering concept at the time. From systems engineering to prototyping subsystems, these experiences laid the essential groundwork for his future endeavors.
With his growing expertise in the field, Steven emerged as a subject matter expert in 3D printing. He subsequently led a strategic business development initiative, enhancing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) capabilities in this transformative market. Throughout this period, he honed his understanding of global business trades and cultivated strong relationships with distributors worldwide, positioning Lubbe for success.
